About us

Stortford Starfish swim school was set up by Sally Winter in 2002, in line with the opening of Bishops Stortford College pool.

We are an established swim school, running small classes so we can provide a more personal service.

We have a passionate teaching team, who are all qualified to SE standards (Swim England) and are fully DBS checked.

Our aims are to:

Teach essential life skills in and around water
Build confident swimmers from an early age
Provide a fun and friendly learning environment
Develop good stroke technique
Giving children the opportunity to progress further within the sport of swimming
